Below are brief educational and employment history summaries including projects, work placements and internships. I have excellent written and verbal communication skills – alongside computer literacy and analytical skills. My employment thus far has given me people skills, experience in customer service and sales. I have given tutorials in English literature/language and Cultural Studies – and learned numerous transferable skills in various roles.

I collaborated on a digitization project for the RCSI involving digitization of film negatives for preservation. Another project with Callan Museum St, Patrick’s College, Maynooth involved digitizing 3d objects. 1st class awards, Thesis: ‘Reading Folklore in Nineteenth Century Ireland’

I hold a First Class Honors MA English from the University of Limerick. I was class representative, liaising between classmates, the department and administration. I also did a few tutorials for the Disability services teaching Cultural Theory. My A2 Thesis was on original research, including a survey and analysis of print folklore in the Irish Fireside: “Reading Popular Folklore in Nineteenth Century Ireland”. It involved a lot of research into a diverse range of topics including language, literacy and education, development of literary values, print culture and factors affecting cultural development spanning a period of over a millennium of Irish history. I also had the opportunity to get involved in a literary publication, The Ogham Stone which came out in January 2016. I was involved in its promotion mainly, designing a poster  and featuring in a video -amongst other roles.

I’m reasonably proficient in the Spanish language, I did it for my Leaving Certificate and had the opportunity to practice during many trips to Spain and the time I spent living there.  I’ve good comprehension and can read Spanish.
